To follow up on my current free promotion that goes from August 28th-31st for Splatter Elf stories, I did a reading of my second story River of Blades. This one took a little longer and had a lot more heavy edits, but I wanted to incorporate the weird technology that used to exist in the world combined with creatures that would give people nightmares. I solidified Katzia is the main character of the series so far with her second starring role and gave her some increased challenges to deal with. While The Unicorn-Eater showed me I could put out my work to the world, River of Blades let me know that I might be on to something. Something bloody…
